IBCS Consolidator for Ethiopian Airlines
Ethiopia is....our home, but we're spreading our wings. We fly to a growing number of destinations throughout Ethiopia, across Africa and on to Europe, the U.S, Asia and the Middle East. We are proud of our African heritage and believe that it adds a special touch to the comfort and efficiency that characterizes the modern Ethiopian Airlines.
It may surprise you to learn that we have been around for nearly 60 years. Our roots are quite definitely Ethiopian, but through the passage of time we have grown to become Africa's biggest airline, and an emerging force on the international scene.
Sustained growth has fueled the development of the most comprehensive pan-African route network of any airline. We know Africa by heart, and as a means of introducing visitors to the wonders of Africa, Ethiopian Airlines is unrivalled. Our increasing number of international destinations also provides a smart way for Africa to reach the world.
Our policy of route expansion is mirrored by advances in fleet development. Today, we operate a modern fleet that includes Boeing 767, 757 and 737 jets. An on-going fleet enhancement policy also ensures that Ethiopian's fleet will continue to reflect the latest developments in passenger and cargo aircraft technology. With this regard, Ethiopian has placed a firm order for 10 of the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 'Dreamliner', the first of which is scheduled for delivery beginning early 2010.
To our passengers this all adds up to a safe, comfortable, enjoyable way of travel, spiced with a little African magic.
